Under the Weather – Album Preview
Hey there!
We’re Electric Horseman from Darmstadt, Germany. Our sound blends indie rock, folk rock and subtle psychedelic elements. It’s grounded in analog tones and real performances – with a focus on songwriting, texture and atmosphere.
We’ve just finished our second full-length album Under the Weather. It was recorded entirely to tape at Red Roof Loftsound Studio with Matt Korr – no digital editing, no fix-ups. The final mix & master are ready as stereo master tape and will be cut directly from tape.

PRESS
“Electric Horseman’s retro sound breathes the spirit of the ’60s and ’70s, yet doesn’t sound old-fashioned at all. Like Temples or Courtney Barnett, the four musicians from Darmstadt succeed in refreshing the classic sound with a pop zeitgeist.”
P Stadtkulturmagazin
“What sounds like a group of Californian Deadheads starting their own band project in a haze of grass is actually a well-rehearsed quartet […] combining psychedelic, blues, and laid-back indie rock without adopting a contrived vintage image.”
Visions
“The band Electric Horseman hails from Darmstadt and recently celebrated the release of their debut album Lies to Love for. On it, you’ll find nine incredibly good folk rock songs, sometimes classic, sometimes modern.”
