Under the Weather – Album Preview

Hey there!

We’re Electric Horseman from Darmstadt, Germany. Our sound blends indie rock, folk rock and subtle psychedelic elements. It’s grounded in analog tones and real performances – with a focus on songwriting, texture and atmosphere.

We’ve just finished our second full-length album Under the Weather. It was recorded entirely to tape at Red Roof Loftsound Studio with Matt Korr – no digital editing, no fix-ups. The final mix & master are ready as stereo master tape and will be cut directly from tape.

Now, we’re looking for partner for the pressing & physical publishing!

Infos

We’re planning a pressing, and we’re looking for a label or partner to cover the pressing and print production and physical publishing / distribution.

What’s already done:

  • Recording, mixing, and tape master will be completed
  • Tape cut will be done by a preferred parter of Matt’s who is great at cutting from tape directly, payed by us

Possible set-up

  • You’ll have the distribution rights for the physical vinyl release
  • You handle pressing and printing, packing, physical publishing/distribution
  • We receive a defined amount of copies for free
  • We have the option to reorder additional copies at band price

We’re open to flexible deal models. The goal is to work with someone who shares our appreciation for analog sound and physical formats.

Some Background

  • 2 EPs and 1 full-length album released independently digitally and on CD
  • Our Our debut album Lies to Love for (Winter 2023) was realized as 12″ and fully crowdfunded last year (200 units)
  • ~45,000 Spotify streams without label support
  • Active live presence in Germany, especially in the Rhine-Main region and realized tours across Germany and Switzerland

Idea for release timeline

  • We’ll start releasing singles digitally around late 2025 but are flexible
  • One song every ~5–6 weeks, each accompanied with social media campaign
  • Full digital album release: flexible depending on vinyl release
  • Vinyl release ideally aligned with the album drop
